Before cleaning
Please point out stains, existing damage, loose buttons and any valuables in pockets when you hand over items. Some fabrics, trims and dyes may react to cleaning even with the correct process; we will advise where we see a risk.
Making a claim
- Report the issue as soon as possible, ideally at collection.
- Bring the garment back with the receipt or reference and, if available, proof of purchase.
- We may need to keep the item for inspection, or ask an independent textile testing service to assess it.
Compensation
Where we are responsible, compensation is normally based on the garment's value at the time of loss, taking age and condition into account. [Owner to confirm approach and any limits, which must remain fair under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.]
Where we are not responsible
[Owner to confirm], e.g. where damage is caused by a manufacturing fault or inaccurate care label.
